Cubit is a unique Chicago interior design firm with global experience.  We combine client concepts and fuse Western and Asian influences, to create appealing and functional environments.  We are pleased to introduce some of our creative designs in the following pages.

The name of the Chicago interior design company is derived from the earliest known unit of measure, the cubit.  This was originally equal to the length of one’s forearm.  The measurement was referred to in Egyptian hieroglyphics and continued to be utilized throughout history. The Vitruvian Man sketch  by Leonardo da Vinci depicts nine historical units of measurement, including the cubit.  Thus, the cubit represents consistent, lasting and classic measurement, which relates to the fundamental style of design used by our firm.  Clean, organized yet classic and enduring design for the Chicago area and beyond.
